Left 4 Dead is Valve’s original co-op zombie shooter from 2008 - and it still holds up. Four survivors fight their way through hordes of infected across four atmospheric campaigns: No Mercy, Death Toll, Dead Air and Blood Harvest. The AI Director dynamically adjusts the intensity, spawning hordes and special infected based on how well your team is doing - no two runs feel the same.

Special Infected

What sets L4D apart is the special infected - each with a unique ability designed to split up and overwhelm the survivors. The Hunter pounces and pins you down, the Smoker drags you away from the group, the Boomer blinds you with bile and calls a horde, the Witch punishes anyone careless enough to startle her, and the Tank hits like a truck. Learning to counter each one - and calling it out for your team - is the heart of the game.

Game Modes

• Campaign - Four survivors vs. the AI Director across four campaigns
• Versus - Two teams of four take turns playing survivors and infected
• Survival - Hold out as long as possible against endless waves

Your Own Server

With your own Left 4 Dead server you can play with friends without public lobbies, load custom community campaigns, and set your own rules. Our managed server handles updates automatically - you just play.
